Qube ("we", "our", or "us") builds privacy-first AI hardware. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information in connection with our website at qube.bot, our waitlist, and the Qube hardware product and software ecosystem.
The core principle is simple: the Qube device processes all AI workloads locally on your hardware. Audio, video, conversations, model weights, and fine-tuned LoRA adapters never leave your home network unless you explicitly choose otherwise.
2. Information We Collect
2a. Website & Waitlist
When you visit qube.bot or join our waitlist, we may collect:
- Your email address (waitlist sign-up only)
- Basic analytics such as page views and referral source (anonymized)
- Standard server logs including IP address, browser type, and timestamp
2b. The Qube Device
The Qube device operates entirely on your local network. By design, it does not transmit any of the following to Qube or third parties:
- Audio or video captured by the Pin wearable
- Conversation logs or AI interaction history
- Your fine-tuned model weights or LoRA adapters
- Personal memories or preferences stored by the agent
Optional software updates may be downloaded from our servers when you explicitly approve them. These update requests contain only your device's hardware ID and current firmware version - nothing personal.
3. How We Use Your Information
Information collected through the website and waitlist is used solely to:
- Send you product updates, launch announcements, and early access invitations
- Understand how people discover and use our website
- Respond to your support inquiries
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers. Ever.
4. Cookies & Tracking
Our website uses minimal, privacy-respecting analytics. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. We do not build behavioral profiles. If we use any analytics service, we configure it to anonymize IP addresses and disable cross-site tracking.
5. Data Retention
Waitlist email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Website logs are retained for up to 90 days for security purposes and then permanently deleted.
