1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing qube.bot, asking us for a demo, purchasing a Qube hub, or using any Qube software, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
These Terms apply to all visitors, enquirers, and customers ("you" or "user").
2. Description of Service
Qube provides an on-premise AI system for professional practices: a hub appliance installed on your office network, room microphones, and the associated software. It is designed to run every AI workload on hardware you own, with no cloud dependency for the core experience.
We also operate an informational website at qube.bot.
3. Demos & Pilots
Asking for a demo does not constitute a purchase or a guarantee of availability. We will use your email address to arrange it and to follow up. Pilot placements are limited and agreed separately in writing, including installation, support, and what happens to the hardware at the end.
You may ask us to stop contacting you at any time by writing to hello@qube.bot.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on qube.bot - including text, graphics, logos, and software - is owned by or licensed to Qube and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Qube content without our explicit written permission.
Your recordings, transcripts, extracted items, documents and any adaptations created on your hub are yours. Qube claims no ownership over that data or over model outputs produced on hardware you own.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Qube products or services to:
- Record anyone without the notice and consent your jurisdiction requires
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
- Generate, distribute, or store illegal content
- Attempt to reverse-engineer proprietary firmware without authorization
- Interfere with the security or integrity of our website or services
- Impersonate any person or entity
The hub requires a deliberate human action to begin recording. You are responsible for how your practice uses it, including the disclosure you give clients and your obligations to your own staff.
6. Privacy
Your use of Qube is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
7. Hardware Warranty & Returns
Specific warranty terms and return policies will be provided at the time of purchase. General principles:
- Hardware defects covered for 12 months from date of purchase
- Physical damage caused by misuse is not covered
- Return eligibility and process will be detailed in purchase documentation
For warranty inquiries, contact support@qube.bot.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Qube website is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Items the hub extracts from a conversation - time entries, commitments, deadlines, people, and matter references - are proposals for a person to review. They are not a substitute for professional judgement, and nothing the system produces should be relied upon as legal, financial, or other professional advice. Transcription and speaker attribution can be wrong, which is why the source audio is always kept alongside.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Qube shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of our products or services.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to Qube in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Open Source
Portions of the Qube software stack are built on or incorporate open-source software. Applicable open-source licenses are documented in the device software and on our GitHub repository. Your rights under those licenses are not affected by these Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and then through binding arbitration if necessary.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to practices we work with, and by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
